A good wine gift box indicates originality, discernment and finesse. A subtle yet classic statement in itself, wine baskets enable family, friends, bosses or business contacts to connect at a rare, uncommon level.

Extending toasts of wine enthusiasm through gifts of wine gift boxes has become a popular presentation idea. Offered as corporate gifts or for festival occasions, romantic getaways and family celebratory events, wine gift boxes (a great alternative to wine gift baskets or wine gift hampers) herald all the excitement and anticipation ahead. They open up fresh perspectives and great conversation, and revitalize relationships!

Suma Park Wines (Geelong Region, Victoria)

Unwooded Chardonnay 2005
This 2005 Suma Park Unwooded Chardonnay was made using the estate's finest parcels of fruit.  The vines are situated to have enviable views of Bass Strait and Swan Bay and hence the maritime influence here is very real.  It is in this distinct climate of the Bellarine Peninsula, where the warm days and cool nights produce slow ripening grapes with intense fruit flavours.  The wine exhibits characters of melon, tropical fruits and peach.  The finish is refreshing, crisp and clean with just a hint of natural sweetness. The wine is vintage for immediate enjoyment. Best served slightly chilled.

Riesling 2005
Grown near Mansfield in the Upper Goulburn region of Victoria. The grapes for this wine were picked early April after a great growing season. It shows delicate floral aromas with powerful citrus fruit on the palate balanced with beautiful acidity. A great wine now it can also be cellared for ten to fifteen years.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Our 2004 Suma Park Cabernet Sauvignon was made from fruit sourced from the Yarra Valley, a region renowned for this variety.
It was produced using the traditional techniques to give a softer rounder wine. It exhibits blackberry fruit characters, cherry and plum with a hint of spice. Matured for 24 months in French oak barriques, it is a wine that is immediately enjoyable, however it will develop further complexity with age, and continue to improve for at least 5 years.

Torbreck Wines (Barossa Valley)

Les Amis 2009 Grenache
Sourced from the denigrated soils of western Seppelts field,
Les Amis is a testament to what only the most fastidious farming can achieve - purity, intensity and finesse. Possessing a dense, saturated ruby/purple hue the 2005 Les Amis flaunts the concentration, poise and
panache of which only the greatest terroirs are gifted. Delicate scents of Chinese five spices, smoke, white flowers and roasted herbs precede a dense, brooding core of black cherry, coal and scorched earth.
The well delineated palate offers tremendous texture and combines glorious fruit purity with subtle notes of toasted brioche, fresh cream and balsamic. Multi-dimensional and incredibly intricate, the wine finishes
with crisp acids and a cloak of beautifully ripe, polished tannins. Revealing a savoury elegance in its youth, the 2005 Les Amis will continue to build in complexity for many years to come.

The Struie Shiras 2009
Sourced from several elevated sites throughout the Barossa & Eden Valleys.
The Struie reflects the cooler side of the region and showcases the subtle nuances that are gained from hillside viticulture.
Possessing a dense and completely opaque hue, 2009 The Struie has a wonderfully healthy sheen and great viscosity. The initial aromas of black raspberries, crème de cacao and star anise yield to a fragrant core of slow roasted meats, scorched
earth and olive tapenade. Full bodies and tightly structured the palate shows perfect ripeness and brooding richness along with razor-like spine of beautifully integrated acidity and fine tannin that will greatly reward those with the patience to cellar it.

Henschke Julius Eden Riesling 2010 - Pale straw with green hues. The nose displays intense lemon and lime zest, green peppercorns and distinct minerality, with lifted floral notes. Concentrated lime flavours accented with cardamom spice. The textured mid-palate leads to a long, crisp, clean finish. Excellent vintage, drink now to 2025

Henschke Lenswood Gillies 2010 Pinot Noir - Deep garnet with violet hues with an alluring sweet perfume of musk, rosewater and lifted spicy black cherries supported by gamy, savoury scents and smoky hints. The rich, dense palate shows complex layered flavours of dark cherries and white pepper. Fine, grainy tannins create mid-palate depth and structure with an elegant, lingering finish. Exceptional vintage, drink now our will keep for up to 15+ years.

Charles Melton

Charles Melton Shiraz 2001 (cork) - An early vintage with moderate temperature and slightly lighter crop, a lively palate showing beautiful tertiary characters of stewed plums and blackberries, finishing off with long fine tannins

Charles Melton Nine Popes Shiraz 2008 - Deeply coloured with a spicy fragrant nose, real depth and tightness. The wine was aged in predominantly French oak barriques of which 35% was new. This is a serious cellaring wine. Many Grenache based reds can be light hearted and fresh, and indeed this is a legitimate manifestation of one Grenache style, but our aim is to make classic dark wines with a mix of spice, liquorice and other complex flavours leavened by some sweeter talc like perfume that will evolve into a seductive long term style.
