by Bree | March 20, 2017

Up until now our blogs have mainly given you ideas of what products you could use for your promotional merchandise.. but today we wanted to keep it short and simple and tell you WHY you should be using promotional merchandise.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the saying out of “sight, out of mind”, and unfortunately that is the case when it comes to advertising your business. According to impresspm.com.au 89% of Australian Marketing Managers agree that promotional products increase brand awareness but keeping your name in front of clients, and prospective clients therefore increasing brand recognition.

But what is Brand Recognition? The extent to which the general public (or an organization's target market) is able to identify a brand by its attributes (Ref 1) so not by name but by visual signifiers like logos, slogans and colours.

As well as creating brand recognition for your business, promotional products create lasting awareness “A good promotional item should become an ongoing reminder of your brand, every day that it is used (Ref 2).

When planned out correctly, promotional merchandise can be an incredibly cost effective marketing method.  By leaving your order to last minute you will limit your product choice therefore decrease your chances of having a truly cost effective marketing product.  If you can give your supplier 8 weeks+ notice, the product options they will be able to provide you will be a lot greater and at a lower cost.

There are endless reasons as to why you should be using promotional merchandise as a part of your marketing campaign; these are just a few of the main reasons.

If you are struggling to find the perfect product for your company, give us a call or send us an email and we will be more than happy to help with your personalised promotional merchandise.
